Christine Migrates and Crashes

Note: Why is this so funny? My mom's name is Christine, and in second grade, already, I was writing mean things about her...Heehee..

Once there was a blue jay named Christine. She lived by Larkspur Plaza Drive in Larkspur. Larkspur is in Marin County. It was the year two-thousand when Christine was learning how to fly. She was three weeks old, and it was almost winter. (She liked the nest she lived in.)

When winter came, she did not was to leave the nest, but she had to leave the nest because it was winter and she needed to fly south to where it was warmed. She was going to fly to Mexico where it was hot. Christine started to fly to Mexico on the twelfth of December Year two-thousand. When she got to Tiburon, she saw a closed window on a house on Tiburon Hill, but she thought there wasn't a window, so she tried to go though the window and she crashed into it and broke her wing. Then she fell to the ground outside.

When the people who lived in the house saw Christine, they picked her up and put her in the bushes a few feet away from the window. One hour later, there was a veterinarian who was taking a walk on Tiburon Hill. When he was in the middle of his walk, he found Christine. The veterinarian found Christine when he was looking at the insects in the bushes for his collection. The veterinarian found Christine on Tiburon Hill. He heard her chirping and saw her under a bush and he picked her up. When he picked her up, he did it very carefully so he wouldn't hurt her. When he got back to his office, he x-rayed her wing to see if she broke it. When he found out that she broke her wing, he put bandage-like strips around her wing. The strips were for small animals like Christine for when they break a bone somewhere.

Christine stayed with the vet for a month. She stayed in a big cage. The cage was in the vet's office. The vet's office was in downtown Tiburon.

The vet let Christine go in downtown Tiburon on the twelve of January, year two-thousand one. After one month, Christine could fly again! Christine felt great. When she was flying to Mexico, she did not have any more trouble.

THE END.
